Monitoring Wellness

Coheal enables real-time measurement
of vital health indicators

Using non-invasive technology, monitors your Resting Heart Rate (RHR) and Heart Rate Variability (HRV) in real-time.

HEALTH-TRAC: Maintain a healthy heart

A healthy heart rate is an indicator of a healthy heart. Your resting heart rate (RHR) is a snapshot of how well your heart muscle is functioning. Various factors impact RHR, including stress, medications and even caffeine. A high RHR could be a sign of an infection or heart arrhythmia while a low RHR could signal fatigue or even bradycardia.
STRESS-TRAC: Know your stress level
Heart rate and HRV have a direct correlation to stress levels. Stress is triggered when a past event or recently upcoming event is overwhelming. The autonomic nervous system (ANS) affects the heart rhythm on a cellular level. The relaxation response tells your heart to slow down, increasing space for changes between beats (high HRV) and the stress response tells your heart to speed up, decreasing space for change (low HRV).

Using a proprietary test device, CoHeal platform quantifies proteins from a salivary sample, in real-time.

STRESS-MEASURE: Analyte – Cortisol

As a response to overwhelming demands, the Hypothalamus pituitary adrenal (HPA) axis produce a steroid hormone called Cortisol as a stress response essential for the fight-flight mode. Cortisol is vital for the body to overcome threats and function normally. However, long-term exposure to cortisol can cause health issues that manifest in our physical state (Blood sugar and cholesterol imbalances, higher blood pressure, increased risk of heart disease, impaired cognition and metabolism, inflammation, exhaustion, and other health issues) and mental state (eating disorder, depression, anxiety, nervousness).

CoHeal platform can sample the levels of cortisol in real-time from a saliva sample taken after wake-up, morning, noon, evening, and night, showing a full diurnal cycle.
